TransforM PIs Co-organize a Successful 10th Munich Summer Institute

The 10th Munich Summer Institute (MSI) took place this week (20-22 May, 2026)convening an international and interdisciplinary network of researchers to discuss cutting-edge developments in economics, law, management and technological innovation.  

Supported by the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition, Cornell University, ETH Zurich, Imperial College Business School, LMU Munich, the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the University of Lausanne and the TransforM Cluster, the program is jointly organized with several TransforM Principal Investigators , Hanna HottenrottTobias KretschmerDietmar Harhoff, and Joachim Henkel, among others. 

This year’s institute explored topics ranging from digitalization strategy and artificial intelligence to knowledge production, innovation and entrepreneurship. Researchers at all career stages participated in keynote lectures, plenary presentations, poster sessions and a dedicated PhD workshop.  

This summer institute served as an exciting chance for TransforM to participate in an important platform for strengthening international collaboration on innovation, technology and societal transformation. We look forward to connecting with the attendees in the future!
