Prof. Dr. Joseph Fins is a physician–ethicist and leader in neuroethics at Weill Cornell Medicine and Yale Law School, known for advancing care and policy for patients with disorders of consciousness and brain injury. He will talk about how to be conscious of neurotechnology. Prof. Dr. Judy Illes is a neuroethics pioneer and Professor of Neurology at University of Bristish Columbia. As founding director of Neuroethics Canada, she advances responsible neuroscience and advises on ethical and policy issues worldwide. She will talk about cultural transformations in medicine and neurotechnology.
